TrueScale - VR

TrueScale is a groundbreaking interior design tool that can simultaneously create 2D floor plans, 3D mockups, and full room-scale environments in VR. With TrueScale, anyone can design their house, office or apartment in minutes, and then virtually experience it first-hand in real scale.

The Challenge: Create a floor plan for a house, an office, a single room, a gym, whatever you can think of in virtual reality using TrueScale. Include flooring, furniture, decor, etc. to not only design the physical space but also be the decorator!

GREEN CIRCLE (1 PT.)

Use the HTC Vive to learn the TrueScale application.
Try to create a floor plan in TrueScale.

BLUE CIRCLE (2 PTS.) IN ADDITION TO ALL IN THE GREEN CIRCLE....

Complete a floor plan or design in TrueScale.
Use at least 5 different tools in TrueScale and discuss how you used them in your presentation slides.
Display images or videos of your design in your final presentation.

BLACK DIAMOND (3PTS) IN ADDITION TO ALL IN THE GREEN CIRCLE & BLUE SQUARE...

Design something in TrueScale that has a purpose. Why is the floor plan, design, office, bedroom, kitchen, etc., different than what we know?
Use and discuss at least 10 different tools, furniture, etc. in TrueScale in your final presentation.
Create a video of your final design. Use a video editing software (iMovie, WeVideo, etc.) to create an entertaining video that includes sound, titles.
The video should help communicate not only the purpose of your design but how it will help others or be useful for others.
Final presentation slides have a visual theme and communicates to us your expertise in TrueScale and the purpose of your creativity.
