Podcast
THE CHALLENGE: Podcasts are a great way to get your name, ideas, talents and whatever else out to the public. It's like hosting your own radio show without having to be hired by anyone!! By simply recording yourself in any audio editor (like GarageBand), adding music, sound FX and cleaning it up a little with some editing, you can have your own show! Once the recording is done, you can put the audio file online for all to download and listen too. Think of something you feel others would want to listen to. It could be humor, politics, school, fashion, sports, or anything else that interests you.
THE DETAILS:
Decide on the topic you would like to discuss on your podcast.
Do a little research and preparation on the topic so that you are knowledgeable and have information to communicate to your listeners.
Use Garageband or iMovie or WeVideo to create your Podcast. Tutorials for iMovie and Wevideo can be found on the Filmmaking project page.
Be sure to create a intro to your 'show' as well as an ending thanking resources or people that contributed to your podcast.
Edit your podcast by adding sound effects, cutting out parts of your recording that you don't like or that get very long, and add background music when applicable.
Export your project into an MP3 that we can all listen to and enjoy. See resources for tutorials.
