Music Video
THE CHALLENGE: Use your favorite song or create an original to turn into a music video. Lip-synch, act the lyrics out in a story, emulate the choreography or your create your own.
THE DETAILS:
Decide on the music you are going to use for your video. Are you going to do a new video for a favorite song as you lip-synch? Are you going to create a video for your original mashup? Or are you going to write your own song using GarageBand and then create a video for?
Create a storyboard and plan for the shots and camera angles for the scenes you are going to use for your video.
Get the song you are going to use. You can email Mr. Wolfe a link to your song and he will return a usable mp3 file to you.
Film your scenes. You may want to use your phone or iPad or something else to play your music while you film so that you can do your best to match it up right. All sound in these scenes will be muted in editing so noise does not matter at this point.
Import your video into iMovie (click here to see how).
Edit your music video. Do your best to match the lyrics and song to the visuals.
Export your movie so that we can watch and share it (click here to see how).
