The Challenge:
Your job is to create training sessions on Rocket League. This training will be based on a strategy developed after analyzing your play in Rocket League. You will fulfill the role of an Esports coach by analyzing gameplay to develop strategy and theory to improve not only your skills but those you complete your training sessions.
This is a 1 or 2 person project.
This project has a maximum of 12 days (can NOT be extended to 2 projects in 8th grade).
Editing of your final video must begin no later than the start of day 8!

The Details:
Day 1
Read this webpage. The WHOLE thing.
Understand these expectations while using the gaming PC's.
DO NOT change any settings, desktops, move any of the icons or anything else on the computer. We use these computers for RL club/team competitions and settings and computers must be consistent.
Login is the username of the computer but no spaces and all lowercase. Ex: the password SMS Esports 1 is 'smsesports1'.
Must leave your station as you left it. Plug the controllers and headphones back in and leave on the towers. They are both wireless so do not be plugged in while being used.

Look at the student examples below. This will give you an idea of what finished projects should be.
Days 2-3: Play the game. Take notes and record the struggles you are having. Decide on a very specific skill that you want to improve. Watch your games. Make notes of where you need to get better and how that might be possible.
Days 4-6: Create original training session(s) to practice specific skills. Add clips of you completing the sessions to your video.
Day 7: Record yourself completing the training session(s) you created on days 4-6 using OBS.
Day 8: Play a couple games and record (using OBS) trying perform the skills from your training session(s).
Day 9: Import your videos into 'OpenShot' (on the PC). 'OpenShot' is located on the toolbar at the bottom of the PC screen.
Day 10-12: Edit your clips. Include titles, transitions, music, audio, voice overs, effects, etc. to make your training video look professional.

GREEN CIRCLE (1 PT.)
Completed the in game training session.
Did not follow timeline and spent most of the days just playing the game.
Presentation complete but project and video is incomplete.
Did not finish a training session with a clear purpose based on analysis or analytics.
BLUE SQUARE (2 PTS.)
Followed the detailed timeline above.
Created a training sessions designed to improve a specific skill identified after analyzing play on days 3 & 4.
Video is created that communicates the game analysis, purpose of training sessions and each 'shot', results of the practice.
Video includes audio, titles, and transitions.
BLACK DIAMOND (3PTS) IN ADDITION TO ALL IN THE GREEN CIRCLE & BLUE SQUARE...
Advanced video editing skills are used and communicated.
Analysis of gameplay is more than just based on opinion. Analytics are used to back the skills that need improvement than progress is shown after completing the training using analytics once again.
A game strategy based on analysis and training sessions is communicated within the slides that has purpose towards improving a players or teams success.
