Insert Video into a Google Presentation

HOW TO PUT YOUR MOVIE INTO YOUR GOOGLE PRESENTATION

1. Open your finished movie in imovie

2. Share- Export Movie

3. Choose for WHERE: Desktop - Size: medium or large EXPORT

*******IT MUST BE .M4V*******

A MOVIE THAT ENDS IN .MOV (QUICKTIME) CANNOT PLAY DIRECTLY FROM THE PRESENTATION.

3. Be sure to save in an .MP4 format

4. Choose for WHERE: Desktop - Size: medium or large EXPORT

5. When it’s FINISHED exporting, you will see it on the desktop.

6.Go to your google drive, log in and Upload file to Google Drive or drag it into the folder you want to keep it in.

7. When it’s done uploading, Click on SHARE. Remember the process for the video to BOTH upload AND process can take 5-10 minutes.

8. Make sure that the sharing permissions are set to what you want it to be so others can view your video. Take it off of 'private'.

9. Go to your presentation slides

10. Click on INSERT --> Video --> drive when you are on the slide you want to video to go on.

11. Find your video and select.

12. All done!
