We pray-read Rom.12:4-8 and reviewed with fellowship lesson 24 Knowing Boundaries, focusing on the boundaries (1) between the elders and their relatives (2) between the church and the denominations (3) of the truth.
We shared what touched us in brother Minoru's fellowship last Saturday. We prayed for oursleves and for the saints to enter into the burden through consecration and prayer.
We fellowshipped on the perceived weakness of Lord's Day meetings: (1) brothers coming late (2) numbers dropped (3) spirit & speaking not strong.
Let's not be passive, exercising against our natural tendency to quench the inner feeling.
Let's exercise and learn to add on one another to build up the fire, to release the flow.
Let's care for the flow and the harmony while releasing our exercise and praises.
It would be good for the more exeperienced ushering serving ones (comparatively, e.g. J Chau & D Choi) to fellowship together how we may seat the saints better so as to enhancement the atmosphere, not having many empty seats in the front row, not having many seats in the back rows of the door side.
We touched on some disturbances last Lord's Day. We would want to have additional brothers to (1) dedicate to seating the saints (2) patrol the parking on neighbors' spaces.
There was the feeling that the church life needs more home/family atmosphere. We may start by personally inviting the saints. Organizing did not work.
