Registration for Spring semester begins November 4th for returning students and November 11th for new students.
UWill is a mental health and wellness program that connects students with licensed available clinicians. Each Speech@Emerson student will have access to up to 6 sessions per year, free of charge with licensed mental health professionals. The platforms used are both HIPAA and FERPA compliant and video, phone, chat, and messaging services are all available. As a student, after you create an account, you'll be able to connect almost immediately with a therapist of your preference (e.g., issue, language, gender, ethnicity).
It is the hope of Emerson that UWill will provide important mental health services, so we can better support our students who are dealing with depression, stress, anxiety, trauma, specific relationship problems, family concerns, academic performance difficulties, loneliness, sleep disturbance, or many other issues.
If you are using UWill for the first time and are unable to receive your 6 free sessions, please contact UWill directly by emailing support@uwill.com.
If you are in crisis and need urgent support, you can call 617-824-8755 to speak to somebody at ProtoCall, a Crisis Service utilized by Emerson College. The ProtoCall professional will provide immediate support for crisis management, but cannot provide long-term intervention. If you are looking for longer term support, please see the other resources on this page.
