Registration for Summer 2025 is open and ongoing. Course access will be on 8/18/2025.
The DTP is a combination of digital and physical documents and articles students use for their academic and clinical coursework throughout the program. The majority of the protocols are in a digital library that one of S@E’s Program Administrators gives students access to once they have signed the terms of agreement.
Our Digital Protocol Library is a unique initiative that CSD set forth with various publishers, and one that has been tremendously meaningful for the clinical preparedness for our future Speech Language Pathologists.
In addition, the department’s alliances with publishers have resulted in alleviating numerous hours of manual labor, shipping costs, and have cut down on the use of physical materials, which is more economical and environmentally friendly. If you have questions about the digital library please notify the Student Success team.
Test protocols are used to complete learning activities and assignments within various academic and clinical courses. In addition, these protocols are helpful as you participate in clinical practicum experiences and prepare for Comprehensive Exams.
These instruments are solely for academic reference and may not be used with patients, clients, or to be administered upon anyone.
Upon entering the program, you’ll be asked to review and sign a Terms of Use Agreement to access the Digital Protocol Library. Please note, until the agreement is signed, a registration hold will be placed on your student account preventing you from registering. The agreement is to ensure you understand and abide by the copyright laws related to these assessments.
Once you sign off on the Terms of Use Agreement you will receive a signed copy of your agreement and immediate access to the library. You will have access to the Test Protocol Key that outlines the assessments referenced in each of your courses, as well as those that have not been digitized at this time.
The majority of protocols are digitized, however, new students will also receive a small package containing several physical protocols via mail during the second or third week of the term.
In agreement with the protocol publishers and copyright law, you will be able to access the protocols educational purposes only. You may not download them, print them, or use them in a clinical context.
