Clean returns are expected around the lattice & base of kitchen island, as well as the base to skirt board of internal stairwell (2-story)
Scribe molding should be installed to cover any significant gaps and create a clean transition between elements and ensure cabinet drawers and doors can open properly
Treat the silver laundry dryer vent as a cased opening for a clean termination point at the base. Use window trim casing to wrap the entire vent.
White Dryer Vent will get a face plate, DO NOT wrap white dryer vents.
F plan laundry vent can be silver or white, treat as stated above
All doors should be shimmed to ensure proper margin when closed (never "resting" on frame)
Shims should be installed in each quarter of the door: the top, the bottom, above and below the handle hole (then mirror on the hinge side)
Doors should have equal & consistent reveal between door and frame: 1/4" to 3/16" gap around entire jamb.
Door frames should have no more than a 1/8" gap between frame and flooring
Neighboring doors should have equal distance the entire height
Door casing should have equal reveal when close to a wall corner
Attic access stairs should also have equal & consistent reveal between door & frame and access should function easily and smoothly after trim is in place.
Window extension jambs must comply with consistent margin around window (tolerance of 1/8" or less)
Window casings should have a consistent reveal of 1/4" around the entire window jamb
All baseboard & miters/finger joints should be glued, nailed, and tight: 1/16" - 1/8" tolerance
Returns and outside pieces must touch
Ensure baseboards meet cabinets neatly
Ensure face boards are installed snuggly (no gaps)
The first two stairs have a 1+1/2" lip on left side
All measurements are from lowest shelf to highest shelf and are measured from the floor
All pantry shelves have a depth of 16"
