Ensure that insulation is tucked into voids on exterior walls
Ensure Rigid barrier is in place under landing on two story plans to ensure insulation does not shift
Ensure that all gaps in windows and doors are properly foamed and shims removed from windows
Ensure that R38 Bats are installed underneath the entire length of attic walk way
Ensure that attic baffles are properly installed
Transylvania County Requirements
Ensure spray foam is used behind outlets and light switches on exterior walls
Ensure bottom plate of exterior walls are sealed

Ensure that attic area is blown in to a minimum of R38
Ensure that baffles and HVAC drain pain remain clear of blow in insulation
Insulate floor area in crawlspace to R19
Ensure insulation hangers are placed a minimum of every 2'
Ensure that all voids are insulated from wall to wall
Ensure (X) MM vapor barrier covers the entire crawlspace and no dirt is left uncovered
Vapor barrier must be pinned every 3' on all edges including overlapping edges
Vapor barrier must have a minimum overlap of 18"
Vapor barrier must either be installed under hot water heater or be tight against it and pinned on all sides
All temporary scafolding must be removed and disposed of prior to completion
