Nail spacing must be a minimum of 16â O.C.
Snap control lines for straight installation
Stair step for offset installation
Seams should not be visable from approach angle to door
CLEANLINESS
Pencil marks and mud cleaned off siding especially on 2 story builds
Extra material uncut must be stacked neatly in level area
All cut pieces not used in installation must be thrown away
All nails, scraps, metal, siding, paper and waste must be picked up before leaving job
No nails left in driveway or pathways of travel
Caulking must be wiped off finish surface
FINAL PRODUCT
Lap siding is level and clear of mud and damage
Vinyl flashing is visible underneath the decks
Transition points are clean and secure around doors
Minimal seams in approach angle to main doors
Batton siding and shakes free of damage and clean
Vented and solid soffit level not sagging or pushed up
6x6 posts caulked on all 4 sides around metal wrapped beamÂ
Siliconed around all penetrationsÂ
Fixtures level and not crooked
Shutters installed with factory screws and not overtightenedÂ
