Scrape entire floor from drywall mud and dirt
Nail down any nails sitting proud
Sand joints as Needed to create a flat and smooth surface
Square floor properly to hide any inconsistencies in framing
Read and follow instructions included in floor package
Screw or nail down any squeaky subfloor
Installation
Installation
Install LVP floor based on manufacture recommendation, specs and best practice
Minimum of 3/8" from framing bottom plate to LVP floor to allow for floor movement
Run floors perpendicular to floor joists
Floor joint connection free off any debris and interlocked properly to prevent separation
All trash removed from house and placed in the dumpster
Replace
The gap for the flooring to shower pan or tub is to be no more than 1/4"-5/16"
