We've now had 251 responses to our DachsLife 2015 Survey. 55% of the Dachshunds live with one or more other Dachshunds, which confirms that having one Dachshund is never enough! Here's a summary of some of the data:

30% of Dachshunds have suffered some degree of back disease

A few other emerging facts:

• • 6% of the Dachshunds had suffered an adverse reaction to vaccinations

  • 13% are not vaccinated at all

  • 2% had been diagnosed with cancers or tumours

  • 18% suffer from some form of skin allergy

  • 10% of the owners got their Dachshund from a Rescue organisation
