  • Key stages of metal use - but not specific inventions or implements

Demography/environment – Paleolithic (not evolution) and Neolithic

  • Geography and climate: Interaction of geography and climate with the development of human society
  • Major population changes resulting from human and environmental factors
  • Demographic characteristics and comparisons of agricultural, pastoral, and foraging societies
  • Changes that occur from the agricultural transition - including nature of village settlements as compared to the previous lifestyle, and economic shifts.
