Task
One of your missions for the reading week is to watch a movie in English with English subtitles. This is a really good way to actively pick up new language through listening and to have fun while you're doing it. Just to stress, that's English subtitles, not subtitles in your first language! There is very little to be learnt this way.
These are some suggestions, but please also choose your own or ask classmates for recommendations. We'll discuss your chose movies in groups next week in class.
