A lot of information between research students, staff and the department will be communicated through email.
It is very important that you check your emails regularly to ensure you do not miss any important messages and so you can respond in a timely manner.

Biology Bulletin
The Department publishes a weekly bulletin of news and events covering the full range of activities including:
university and departmental strategic issues
infrastructure developments
research and social events
celebrations of success, and
calls for interest and advice
To make the most of your time in the department, make a habit of reading it regularly.

PGR Student Bulletin
The Biology Graduate School also has its own newsletter which is sent out the first Tuesday of each month.
Student Reps
Each of your programmes has a student representative that you can contact to discuss issues. If appropriate, these issues can be raised and discussed in the Biology Graduate School Board, or the Board of Studies.
