Progression Panel

Your academic progression is considered by a Progression Panel, which is independent of your supervisor(s) to gain an external perspective on the progress that you are making, and to ensure that your relationship with your supervisor(s) remains focused on your development as a researcher.

In the Department of Biology, progression panels consist of two or more senior members of BGSB who are independent of the TAP. TAP membership requires formal approval by the Biology Graduate School Board and is typically confirmed to you within a month of your start.
