It is my absolute pleasure to welcome you all to our Year 6 transition website. I am really proud to be the Headteacher of Ysgol Harri Tudur/Henry Tudor School and am looking forward to meeting year 6 pupils again on your transition tours to our school and again when September comes!

Hi I'm Sophie, I'm a year 7 pupil at YHT. One of the best parts of secondary school is the large number of extra curricular clubs. The ones that I'm involved in include rugby, netball, hockey, cricket, show choir and orchestra. Others include drama, art, coding, debating, football, science club and many more. It doesn't matter how confident or good at the activity you are, everyone is always welcome. I hope this shows you some of the exciting opportunities that are available at YHT.

My name is Lewis and I have enjoyed my first year at Ysgol Harri Tudur and I have made lots of new friends. I especially like P.E. as I love sport and I am part of the football and rugby teams. I have also really enjoyed Technology, makings different things out of metal and wood. I like that we have independence to move around school for different lessons.

Hi Year 6, I am another Lewis and a year 7 pupil at YHT. I have really enjoyed my first year in the school. The lessons have been varied and interesting, with many projects. Going to lots of classrooms is different but you will soon get used to it.

You will have the opportunity to make new friends and join different clubs before, during and after school. Examples of different clubs are football, rugby, netball and badminton.

Another highlight is the wide range of food available at the canteen!
