We take safeguarding very seriously in Ysgol Harri Tudur/ Henry Tudor School.
Safeguarding is concerned with protecting children from abuse and neglect and keeping children safe and happy.
We have a designated child protection teacher – Mrs. Ann Andrews, Assistant Headteacher. (The Senior Management Team deputise in her absence). All staff have child protection training. All staff undergo Criminal Records Bureau checks.
The full Safeguarding Policy is available on request from the school office.
How can parents help?
Your observations and information are very important. We have helped many pupils and families as a result of parents passing on their concerns to us. Sometimes parents tell us, as they do not know whom else to talk to – we then pass the information on to others who can help. If you are concerned about giving your name, you can share information with us anonymously.
