"Alternate", 10/1/23

While trying to find different subjects for my reflection photos, I say the glass on the picture frame, and thought that it would be a cool reflection. I had to find an angle where the photo in the frame couldn't be seen, because it would be distracting from the reflection. I chose to post this one because it is a cool perspective on an everyday scene.

"Underneath" 10/2/23

I went to the beach specifically to take these photos. I thought that this one was one of the best ones that I took, because of how clear the reflections were. I was taking pictures of the ocean, but then I saw this opportunity, because the puddles of water were calmer than the ocean. I like how you can see under the water, but the lighting makes the reflections look very clear. I chose to post this image because I think that it is a great representation of the prompt.

"Chilled" 10/1/23

I was getting something from the fridge and saw a reflection, so I decided to take advantage of it. I tried many different angles/perspectives, and this one was my favorite. I like the symmetry of it, and then the really cool effect of the stainless steel was a great touch. You can't tell that it is a refrigerator by just looking at the photo, and I chose this because of the uncertainty of it.

"Puddle" 10/2/23

This was another one from the same night as previous beach photo. This one, the sun was setting further and I was walking around and saw this reflection. I really like the subtle reflection of the poles, because there are other beautiful aspects of the photo, so it doesn't take away from those. I chose this one because while it is within the prompt parameters, it still has a uniqueness to it that I was really drawn to.
