Water

"Droplets," 2/23/24

This picture was taken in Portland along with the other three. It had just rained and I noticed that a plant had water droplets falling off of it. I zoomed in and focused as best as I could to get a closeup of the droplets before they fell. 

"Traffic," 2/23/24

I noticed a puddle on the sidewalk next to a big brick building and I got closer to it so I could see the reflection. I like this picture because of how clearly you can see the reflection in the water since the puddle was fresh. 

"Seagull," 2/23/24

We went to Union Wharf in Portland to look at the boats, and I saw a seagull on the back of a lobster boat. We got as close as we could to it without tresspassing and I took the picture with the water in the background. 

"Harbor," 2/23/24

Also at Union Wharf, we found an old boat with rope on the dock behind it and buoys on its side.  Since it was a foggy day, the shot felt very representative of Maine's fishing industry and I feel like the smell of the ocean is present through the picture.
