This picture was taken on Main Street at an old church building. I really like this shot because of the angle formed by the roof against the cloudy sky. The window is really ornate and I was able to zoom in enough to see the deails around it.
This is a photo of the front entrance to the Merrill Memorial Library. The brick around the window creates depth that adds to the shot and I think the framing of the tree works well too.
Another picture of the library, this one was taken at the side of the building near the picture book room. The tree works well to establish the setting and its reflected in the dark glass of the window.
This picture is of a different church on main street that was built more recently. The doorway is framed with the swirly columns and above it there is a stained glass window of a book (probably the Bible). There are a lot of components that I think make this shot interesting.
