Polaroid Collages

Purpose: 

• To continue to develop creative problem-solving skills by creating polaroid collages in a unique original way; 

• To further develop your Photoshop knowledge and skills;

Response:

During this project, I got very comfortable with making the polaroids in Photoshop. Since we made seven polaroids for each picture, I made fourteen total and that was enough for me to understand how to do that fully. The hardest part of this project was definitely making accurate and clean selections on the bottom layer to pull above the polaroids. I did mine by using the quick select tool but that took trial and error and I experimented with every selection tool on the platform. It was also difficult to select the initial photo to do the Polaroid because it had to be dynamic. While picking the photos I used, I imagined where I could pull parts of it above the Polaroids and layer them over each other.
