The Essential Question for this exercise was: How do artists use marks to show volume and depth in an image?
In the drawing that I copied my artist Henry Moore used a controlled scribble meaning, he used different levels of intensity purposefully to show depth and shadows throughout the drawing in the hand to show volume and depth in the drawing in a kind of wild scribbly manner.
A specific place you can see this is: Around the knuckles, you can see how they are closer to the front of the image by making them a light color differentiating them from the back of the palm.
