Down Syndrome Awareness Day is coming up this week on March 21st and we will celebrate this Friday by rocking our crazy socks! Stop by the school store during your lunch to purchase a pair of crazy socks made by Ms. Trizzinos class for $5. Wear them on Friday to help us celebrate inclusion and show your support!

Congratulations to the following Beach Street students on their outstanding performances at the SCMEA All-County concerts this weekend!!! Band musicians representing West Islip for Division One were Lea Ambrose, Mason Bonfiglio, Anthony Olson, Charlotte Stergakos and Madeline Tourin. Chorus singers representing West Islip for Division One were Isabella Falzone, Caitlin Morgan, Kira Sweeney Gianna Tarantino. Orchestra musicians representing West Islip for Division One were Sahaj Kohli and Julia Munch. Band musicians representing West Islip for Division Two were Brynn Ehlers and Eloise Marrali . Chorus singers representing West Islip for Division Two Chorus were Ann McInerney, Luca Montrony and Melanie Triolo. Representing West Islip for the Division Two All County Orchestra was Raaviya Patnaik! BRAVO to all of these outstanding musicians and singers on their hard work, commitment and amazing performances over the past week!!!
