Happy St. Patrick's Day Beach Street!

Girl's basketball gets another win against West Babylon. Baskets were scored by Samara Tahir, Khloe McAleavey, Lucy Galasso, Skylar Zdanio, Sam Cava, Avery Lullo, and Keira Biggers. Great job ladies! 

Down Syndrome Awareness Day is coming up this week on March 21st and we will celebrate this Friday by rocking our crazy socks! Stop by the school store during your lunch to purchase a pair of crazy socks made by Ms. Trizzinos class for $5. Wear them on Friday to help us celebrate inclusion and show your support!

Attention all Mathletes - there will be a meeting today after school in room 106.

There will be a Student Council meeting this Friday morning before school at 7:30 in room 104.

It was an exciting week for the Penny War! But there was a clear winner, here are the results:

8th Grade : -1178pts

7th Grade : +10,182pts

6th Grade : -1707pts

Attention all 7th and 8th grade boys…. Track sign ups are open. If you are looking for a fun after school activity, join the boys track team. See Coach Salerno for more info. 

Congratulations to the following Beach Street students on their outstanding performances at the SCMEA All-County concerts this weekend!!!  Band musicians representing West Islip for Division One were Lea Ambrose, Mason Bonfiglio, Anthony Olson, Charlotte Stergakos and Madeline Tourin.  Chorus singers representing West Islip for Division One were Isabella Falzone, Caitlin Morgan, Kira Sweeney Gianna Tarantino.  Orchestra musicians representing West Islip for Division One were Sahaj Kohli and Julia Munch.  Band musicians representing West Islip for Division Two were Brynn Ehlers and Eloise Marrali .  Chorus singers representing West Islip for Division Two Chorus were Ann McInerney, Luca Montrony and Melanie Triolo.  Representing West Islip for the Division Two All County Orchestra was Raaviya Patnaik!  BRAVO to all of these outstanding musicians and singers on their hard work, commitment and amazing performances over the past week!!!

Monday Peer Tutoring will meet this afternoon in room 215. Please make every effort to attend. If you cannot attend please let Miss Kelly know by 5th period.

Attn all faculty: Please be aware the NJHS Induction rehearsal is being held this morning. NJHS inductees should report to the gymnasium at the beginning of period 1. Students will participate in their rehearsal until the end of period 3. Please listen for the announcement to send students down.
