Attention 8th Grade Teachers & Students: Today, we will be holding our first moving up rehearsal during Periods 1-3. Period 1 teachers: Please pass out the blue and yellow cards that were in your mailbox this morning. Once you have passed out the cards and taken Advisory & Period 1 attendance, please proceed to the auditorium. Students should leave all belongings in class or in lockers. The only thing that you need to bring is your blue or yellow card.

The boys lacrosse team defeated Lindenhurst 10 to 6. The team now has a record of 6 wins and 3 losses. Brody Rossi led the scoring with three goals and one assist. Cody Stebbins had two goals and two assists. Sean McAleavy had two goals and one assist . Jax Davis, Sal Galasso, and Ronan King each added a goal. Haseeb Usman scored his first goal of his lacrosse career ! Dylan Murray led the defense with 4 ground balls and two clears. Paulie Terembes, Calen Fisher, and Travis Goldberg all played solid defense. James Miner was great in net with 11 saves. The boys will have their last game against Udall Thursday June 4th at 4:30 pm on the stadium turf. Come out and support the team in their game vs Udall.

Molly McGrath had an outstanding meet, earning first place in both the triple jump and the 55-meter dash—way to go, Molly!
Emma McGrath dominated the distance, taking first place in the 800 meters—great endurance, Emma!
And a big congratulations to Abby Lanza, who ran hard and placed third in the 200 meters—awesome job, Abby!
And let’s not forget the powerhouse 4x100 relay team of Olina Nunez, Aubrey Schlitt, Molly McGrath, and Emma McGrath, who absolutely smoked the competition and brought home a big win!
What a fantastic way to finish the season! Congratulations to the entire team on an incredible year. Your hard work, dedication, and school spirit made us all proud.

The Track Boys had an exciting meet on Friday vs Candlewood. We had a lot of personal best times achieved at the meet. Some highlights were when Will Seigmann won a tight 1500 race with a PB of 5 mins flat. He also won a tight 800 race. Spencer Fisher had a personal best in the 400. Asher won the shot put and discus events. Mason Choka, new PB in the triple jump. Landon B, new PB in the long jump with 13 feet 2 inches. Overall, it was a great day to be a Lion. Today, the boys wrap up their season against Udall. Good luck boys!
Boys Open Soccer will be starting on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. Any boy currently in grade 8 is more than welcome to participate. The first session will take place on Barberry Field from 5 pm to 7 pm (subject to change, so listen for updates prior to June 4th). An updated schedule will be provided on the first night with all open soccer dates and times, but please remember that all dates and times are subject to change due to the weather, or unexpected conflicts.
