The Beach Street Football Lions caped off their season by defeating cross town rival Udall Road 26 to 12 keeping the LaGiglia Memorial Cup for the 5th straight season where it belongs at Beach Street. This win made the Lions undefeated a perfect 6 and 0. This feat has not been accomplished since 2014. The Beach Street Lions had 278 yads of total offense with 18 first downs while holding Udall Road to just 132 yard and 7 first downs for the game. On the season the Lions scored 145 points while only giving up 39. What amazing accomplishment. Coaches Luvera and Osburn want to congratulate our team. This truly was an epic season one we will never forget. Thank you for the memories. To our 8th graders keep grinding and working hard thank you for your dedication to our team. In two years your record was an impressive 11 wins and 1 loss. The best of luck to all of you. Our 7th graders we look forward to another magical season next fall.
