The girls tennis team won their match vs Babylon by the score of 4-3. Amelia Sullivan and Brynn Ehlers won their doubles match with an impressive victory. Lyla Blee and Sophia Squitiro sealed the victory with a thrilling win in the tiebreaker match! The girls improve their record to 2 wins and 0 losses!
The girls soccer team continued their undefeated season with a 5-0 win against Brentwood South yesterday. Goals for the Lions were scored by Ella Ulrich, Gianna Vasaturo, Anna Buckley, Riley Pesci and Ella Pesci. Assists went to, Ava Cetero, Ella Pesci, Daniella Tofano, and Lexi Kofsky. The Beach Street Football Lions continue their winning ways by defeating the Buccaneers of Islip by a score of 28 to 7. The game started close with a 0-0 score at the end of the first quarter. The Lions started to drive and scored two touchdowns to made the score 14 to 0 at the end of the second quarter. The Lions scored again in the third quarter and again in the 5th quarter to help cruise to a victory. The Lions had 279 yards total offense while only giving up 85 yards. Thank you for everyone for coming out to support us. The Lions next play the Musketeers of Central Islip under the stadium lights on Thursday October 10th at 6:00 PM. Please come support your team.
Field Hockey is now 3-0 this season after their win last night. Molly and the defense had a shut out and the winning goal from Adrianna!
The girls soccer team improved their record to 3-0 with their 6-0 shutout victory against Bay Shore Friday. Goals for the Lions were scored by Reese Kopke who had 2, Katelyn Schwarz, Angelina Hernandez, Malene Rubano, and Becca Murn. Sienna Kopke, Maddie Cooper and Abby Gavers combined for the shutout in goal. Our next game is this afternoon at home at 4:45 versus Brentwood South. Come out and support your undefeated girls soccer team!

The Udall/Beach Cross Country team competed yesterday against West Babylon. The team had a dominant win with many personal bests on the season. A highlight was a 3:00 personal best run by Ben Rothfeld for a huge improvement. Congrats on a great race!

The Beach Street Football Lions opened their season by defeating the Phantoms of Bayport/Blue Point by a score of 35-21 under the lights. The Lions dominant offense and stingy defense where keys to the win. This was a total team effort, and each member of our team should be congratulated for a job well done. Please come support the Lions as they take on Buccaneers from Islip on Monday September 30th at 4:45. The game will be played home at Beach Street. Thank you for your support.

The girls tennis team defeated Brentwood by a score of 6-1. The team was led with superb doubles play by Adrianna Dumitru, Brynn Ehlers, Amelia Sullivan, Lyla Blee, Sophia Squitiro and Nella Higgins. Beach field hockey won their first game of the season last night with two goals from Mia, one goal from Emma and three assists from Kole!
The girls soccer team kicked off their season with a 7-0 win against Bay Shore yesterday. Goals for the Lions were scored by Katelyn Schwarz, Hadley Grover, Angelina Hernandez, Nina Lantieri, Daniella Tofano, and Lexi Koffsky. Assists went to Grover and Reese Kopke. Goaltenders Sienna Kopke, Maddie Cooper and Abigail Gavers combined for the shutout with Kopke stopping a direct kick from just outside the 18 with a diving save to preserve the shutout. The team has their home opener Wednesday at 4:30 against Wyandanch. Come out and support your girls soccer team!

The West Islip Varsity Gymnastics Team hosted Babylon for their first home meet on September 17th. On vaulting, Callie Jones scored a 7.95. On bars, Juliet LeClaire scored a 7.00, followed by beam where she placed 2nd for West Islip scoring an 8.25. On floor exercise, Kristen Messina scored an 8.375. Come support the girls varsity gymnastics team at our next competition that will be home against Middle Country on September 20th at 5:30. Amazing job to all!
Congratulations to our Beach Street boys soccer team on their 2-0 win against Deer Park. Great goals by Will Siegmann assisted by Brandon Swallow and goal by Leo Falzone assisted from Ryder Zurita. Huge saves in goal from Dylan Murphy and Brendan Greene to secure the win. It was a great team effort by all!

If so, consider joining Beach Street's historic first-ever E-Sports club! Did you know that the E-Sports Club is coached by two Video Game Hall of Famers? Mr. Lavery was inducted in 1984 for his skills in Asteroids, while Mr. Scharf was inducted into the Video Game Hall of Fame in 1989 for his excellence in Ms. Pac-Man.
