Q: How many subjects should I register per term?
The normal study load is 3 subjects per term. You have the flexibility to select from 1 to a maximum of 3 subjects, depending on your availability, and academic and financial capacities.
Q: I have registered for 3 subjects in Phase 1. However, in Phase 2, I want to drop 1 subject. Can I tick only 2 classes and submit?
No, you cannot. If you want to drop a subject, you must select all 3 classes of the 3 subjects you have selected at Phase 1. Then when Phase 2 ends, you should email the Student Advisor Team for assistance to remove it.
Q: If the classes I want to register for are full, what should I do?
At Class Allocation Phase, we have prepared the classes based on your subject enrolment information. As a result, there will be enough slots for all registered students. Please be advised that the classroom capacity is limited. Once a class is full, we are unable to accommodate your requests to add to that class. In such cases, you should consider enrolling in other available classes.
Q: Why is the list of subjects shown in my account different from my friends? Is it a problem?
The list of subjects is customized based on your study progress. This should not be a problem.
Q: Can I change the subjects after I submitted my enrollment?
Yes, you can change the subject within the advertised deadline. To change the subjects, Untick the enrolled subject and don't forget to confirm your action by hitting "Submit" button.
Q: After I submit my first request for a class, then I want to change to another class. How does the system work?
First Submission: Select your classes (e.g., FIM 1 and Deri 1).
To Change a Class:
Untick the class to cancel (e.g., Deri 1) and tick the new one to add (e.g., Deri 2).
If the new class is available, you’ll be enrolled.
If it’s full, only your remaining class (e.g., FIM 1) will stay confirmed.
To Re-enroll in a Class:
Submit a new request and select the desired classes again.
Enrollment depends on class availability.
Q: If the subjects I want to register for are full, what should I do?
In Phase 1: Subject Enrolment, if the subject is full, you can opt for other available subjects.
If the subjects have reached its maximum capacity and you are in your last term and there are no alternatives, you should contact Student Advisor team for further support. We will advise the outcome if your request is approved or rejected within 2 weeks after the closing of the subject enrollment due date.
Q: How to know if I have successfully registered for a class?
There are 2 options to check:
Option 1:
At MyWSU.VN => Class Allocation => After you select the subject and hit "Submit", a notification pop up will appear, check the information at the pop-up and click Ok
The successful subject will be ticked and changed crimson.
Option 2: At MyWSU.VN => Enrolment => Enrolment result
The successful subject of Phase 2: Class Allocation will be listed.
