 Hall of Fame Nomination Form

Criteria

Any Alumni or friend of Warren County High School may submit the name of a nominee

from the following criteria: (A candidate for induction into the Warren County High School Lawrence M. “Sweeney” Shiflett Athletic Hall of Fame must satisfy the qualifications in one of the following categories

Former Student Athletes of Warren County High School

1. The candidate must have been out of high school for at least ten years.

2. The candidate must be a graduate of Warren County High School (may be waived by

Hall of Fame Committee in special circumstances).

3. The candidate must have had some athletics recognition or accomplishments(designated below) while in school including but not limited to: District, Region,State recognition, individual statistical accomplishments, or team championship. 

Must meet one or more of the following criteria

A. 1st Team All-Region

B. 2 Times 1st Team All District

C. 6 Varsity Letters Earned

D. or at the Discretion of the Athletic Director

4. The primary basis for selection into the Athletic Hall of Fame will be athletic

achievements while a student at Warren County High School. Accomplishments in

the collegiate and/or professional ranks will be given consideration.

5. Character and standing in the candidate’s community will be considered as part of

the selection criteria.

Former Coaches of Warren County High School

1. The candidate must have been out of coaching at WCHS for at least five years.

2. The candidate must have been a head coach at Warren County High School.

3. A candidate must have been a head coach who has distinguished himself/herself by

demonstrating exceptional leadership, character, and athletic achievement during

his/her stay at WCHS.

Contributor to Warren County High School Athletics

Candidates will be evaluated based on the length of their service to Warren County High

School Athletics, the unselfish manner in which they served, and the quality of their service to the athletic programs (Candidates do not have to be a former student athlete or coach).
