Athlete
Danny was a three-sport athlete who excelled in baseball, football and basketball. He was a four-year letter winner in baseball, three-year letter winner in football and one-year letter winner in basketball. He was a key member on five district championship teams – basketball ’71 & baseball ‘69, ‘70, ‘71, and ‘72. In baseball, he was an outstanding pitcher. He was team MVP and team Captain in ‘71 and ‘72. He posted a 9-0 record and a .48 ERA in the ‘71 season. Danny was President of the Freshman Class and a member of the National Honor Society. After graduation, he played at Manatee Junior College in Florida. After Manatee, Danny attended Randolph Macon College where he earned a B.S. in Economics. During his time at Randolph Macon he played baseball and was selected to the Mason Dixon All-Conference team (‘76) and Deans List. As an entrepreneur, he has been involved with several different businesses which includes ownership of MAACO franchises in Winchester and Hagerstown where he was honored with the company’s “Million Dollar Club” award for seven years. He is a consultant in the automotive industry.

Mike excelled in football and baseball for the Wildcats. In football, he was defensive back 1 st Team All-District (’77 & ’78) and 1 st Team All-Region (‘77 & ’78). In baseball, he was outfield 1 st Team All-District (’78 & ‘79), 1 st Team All-Region (’78 & ’79) and 1 st Team All-State (’79). Mike was a solid member of the Wildcats’ wrestling team and he served as president of the Key Club. After high school, he attended Hagerstown Jr. College and James Madison University. He earned a degree in Business Management. Mike has been highly successful in the Real Estate industry and is the owner of Corbin Realty, LLC.

Marie Gadd

Athlete
Marie excelled in softball for the Wildcats. She was a four-year letter winner. In her junior year, her pitching record was 14-2 with a 2.01 ERA. She was All-District, All-Region and team MVP. She was a member of the Northwestern District Champions. In her senior year, her pitching record was 20-1 with a 1.06 ERA. She was All-District, All-Region, All-State and team MVP. She was a member of the Northwestern District Champions, Region II Champions, and Virginia State Group AA Champions. Her career pitching totals were 40 wins with a 1.60 ERA. In 1988, Marie earned her B.S in Nursing from the University of Virginia. In 1998, she earned her M.S. from the University of Maryland. She has served as a cardio-vascular clinician/Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, Va. for 25 years.

Alan excelled in football, basketball, and baseball for the Wildcats. In football, he was a three-year starter and letter winner at tight end and defensive end. As a tight end, he was two time All-District, one time All- Region, and one time All-Area. As a defensive end, he was three time All-District, two time All-Area, and one time All-
Region. He was also the recipient of the Golden Helmet Award and named team MVP. In basketball, he was a three-year starter and letter winner as a center. He was a member of the 1982-83 Northwestern District Champions. In baseball, he was a three-year starter and letter winner at first base. He was All-District and All-Region. He was a member of the 1983 Northwestern District Champions. Alan attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he earned his B.S. in History Education and his M.A. in School Administration from Shenandoah University. While at IUP, he played linebacker for the Crimson Hawks. After earning his degree in 1988, he returned to Warren County and served WCPS for 34 years. He served as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, Principal, Director of Secondary Instruction, and Assistant Superintendent for Instruction.

Josh Michael

Athlete
Josh excelled in baseball and golf for the Wildcats. In baseball, he was a four-time All-District and All-Areaselection. He was two time All-Region and All-State. His career batting average was .425 and he was a member of the Gold Medal team in the Virginia Commonwealth games. In golf, he was All-District and All-Area. He was a key member of the 2002 and 2003 Northwestern District Championship teams. Josh was a member of the academic team, Key Club, and Interact Club. He was a four-time Northwestern District academic letter winner. Josh earned his B.S. in Economics and Commerce from Hampden-Sydney College. While on the diamond for the Tigers, he was named 1 st Team All-Conference and All-Tournament team as a 1 st baseman. Josh currently serves as a Financial Management Specialist at FEMA.
