John "Jack" Edmonson

Jack earned his Associates Degree from Potomac State College and his Bachelors Degree from George Washington University. During his eleven year tenure from 1961-1972, he served Warren County High School as a physical eduation teacher, head boys basketball coach, head golf coach and athletic director. His basketball team won the 1971 and 1972 Distict Championships. In 1971, he was named Winchester Evening Star Basketball Coach of the Year.
In 1972, Jack was named Athletic Director and Basketball Coach of Shenandoah College in Winchester Va. In addition to his athletic duties, he served the college as an Assistant Professor of Physical Education. Jack passed in 2014.

Athlete
Vic excelled in Football, Basketball and Track and Field for the Wildcats. In Football he was a three year letterman and first team All-District Running Back. He was twice named Winchester All-Star Team in 1973 and 1974 and was named the WCHS Outstanding Athlete of the Year. In Basketball, he was a two year letterman and earned All District Honors. He was named to the Winchester Evening Star All-Area team. In Track and Field, he was a three year letterman. He held the WCHS 100 yard dat at 10.1. He was an outstanding athlete in sprints and jumps.
Vic attended Shenandoah University and played basketball. He earned his Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Theraputic Recreation. He earned his Masters Degree in Education from Capella University.

Athlete
Janice excelled in Basketball and Softball for the Wildcats. She earned team MVP in both sports. She set the WCHS girls Basketball career scoring record with 632 points. In softball she was the winning pitcher in both the district and regional championship games. She received the Outstanding Athlete Trophy presented by the Warren County Athletic Association. She was inducted as a member of the National Honor Society.
Janice attended Shenandoah Univeristy where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and Recreation Therapy.
