Athlete
Yates was a 1991 graduate of Warren County High School. He excelled in Golf, Basketball, and Baseball. He earned 10 athletic letters- Golf 4, Basketball 3, Baseball 3. He was named All-District in Baseball and Basketball. He was team MVP in Golf (1990 and 1991) and Baseball (1991). He was named Northern Virginia Daily Male Athlete of the year in 1990 and 1991.
Hall attended the University of Virginia and earned his B.A. in Environmental Sciences in 1995 and his Masters in Teaching-Secondary Science in 2001. During his tenure at UVA, he pitched for the Cavaliers Baseball Team. In 1994, he was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals (MBL) in the 4th round. He played professionally from 1994 to 1998 (reached AA level).

Curley was a 1967 graduate of Warren County High School. He excelled in Football, Basketball, Baseball, and Track and Field. He earned 10 athletic varsity letters (Football-3, Basketball-2, Baseball-3 and Track and Field-2). He was named First-Team All-District and All Area numerous times in football and baseball.
He excelled in baseball at Randolph Macon College (69-72). In 1972 he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Elon University.
He has served WCHS faithfullly, over the years as a teacher and as a coach. He was an assistant football and baseball coach, head varsity football coach and head varsity golf coach. In Golf, his teams won back-to-back Northwestern District Golf titles in 2001 and 2002.

Richard Runyon

Athlete
Richard was a three letter winner in golf for the Wildcats. He helped lead the 1993 Wildcats to the Group AA State Golf Tournament. He attended University of Virginia-Wise where he earned three letters in golf, was a three year captain and MVP. In 1999, he earned his degree in Business and Public Administration. Richard started the Wildcat Scramble Golf Tournament as a fundraiser for Warren County Public Schools golf teams. As the head PGA Golf Professional and General Manager of the Shenandoah Valley Golf Club, he opened the course to local high school golf teams for practices and matches. He served at head WCHS Golf Coach for one year and has hosted numerous VHSL District, Region and State Golf Championships. He has been recognized with many service awards and his contributions to local high school athletes.
