YIIP invites you to Meet the Dentist
Join us on the Second Saturday of each month for programing created and centered around our Children
YIIP is excited to co-host another exciting Field Lesson. We are celebrating National Dental Awareness, and welcome you to join our conversation with an amazing doctor, entrepreneur, mother, and woman, Dr. Danielle K Reed, D.D.S.

Dr. Danielle K. Reed was born in Detroit, MI and attended the University of Michigan. She graduated in 1997 with a Bachelors Degree in Japanese Language and Literature and continued on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2002.
In 2003 she completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Dr. Reed is a member of the Ninth District Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. She is actively involved in the Spear Study Club and takes part in numerous other continuing education courses and seminars held yearly. Dr. Reed takes great pride in her practice because it provides her the opportunity to ease dental fears and deliver high-quality care in a comfortable, family-oriented environment. When she is not working, she enjoys exercising, dancing, and spending time with her loving husband Brian, a family physician, and their 3 children.

1 Toothbrush or Popsicles tick
1 Mirror
Proceedures:
Stand next to your parent or sibling in front of the missor. Open your mouths wide, look in the mirror and see the teeth in both mouths. Who do you think has more teeth? Record your answers on the Certificate of Completion
Use the clean handle of a toothbrush or a clean popsicle stick. While looing in the mirror, point to each tooth and count it. Count both the top and bottom teeth. Record the total number of teeth on the certificate of Completion
Are there any missing teeth in your mouth? Atre there any loose teeth? Are there any new teeth just coming in? Record the total number of missing, loose, or new teeth on the Certificate of Completion.
