YIIP is very excited to share this in-person field lesson with you on the second Saturday March 12, 2022 at 10:am
Many people may assume that a black/African American vegans are very rare, but this isn’t necessarily true. YIIP recently discovered Houston's own food evangelists, Chef Taliek & co-owner Chad Cossey. They have opened a kitchen and are creating magic to bring the historical community of 3rd Ward the type of food that appeals to every pallet.
If you are a full convert to the vegan lifestyle, considering making healthy choices, or are just "Vegan Curious" join us for our YIIP Second Saturday for an in-person Field Lesson. Space is limited and will be closed once capacity is filled. A virtual visit and interview with the co-hosts will be available on the day of the event.

We are so excited he is joining us for Second Saturday on March 12, 2022 to help contextualize the financial lessons needed to launch a successful business like our co-host Soul Food Vegan.
TJ will provide insight and understanding of what it really takes to stand up a brick and mortar business in the community and how that investment will circulate dollars through employment, local sourcing, and reinvestment to help each of us meet our goals.
TJ Tann is the third leg of a relay team providing Hyperlocal Logistics Services.
This Start-Up is helping local business connect with an international community while working towards sustainability and reinvesting in the communities they call home!
