We are excite to bring you a Second Saturday dedicated to the service of our Houston community. Space is limited, so please sign up and join us this Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 10:am. We will link our efforts with the Houston Food Bank to prepare totes for distribution.
YIIP is a qualified 501c3 nonprofit program, and we award Service Hours for all ISD high school students. Many ISD programs require documented hours of community service. Join our programing each month and a secure your mandatory hours!
Habitat for Humanity - Building homes and communities. On-site. Volunteers must be at least 14 years old, and they like to provide lunch on Saturdays. Please keep an eye out for the YIIP Build in 2023
Houston SPCA - Volunteers must be at least 16 years old and able to commit to 8 hours per month for at least 6 months.
Political Campaigns / Offices - Many politicians offer internships for High School students. We do not endorse, but will share information that is shared with us. Such as Voter Protection Volunteering
Tomball Farmer's Market - Every Saturday from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. Any age, minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Turtle Patrol at Galveston island State Park - Seasonal. During the warm nesting season, park rangers conserve habitat, eliminate trash, and patrol the beaches for critters. If you want to help endangered sea turtles consider this opportunity for community service.
If you are unable to join us on this national day of service please consider serving in anyway you can where you are!

Please share your testimony online to encourage others to join you in service or remind them of the many sacrifices made to secure their freedom. Only though the tireless efforts of countless men and women were we able to launch both the Black Lives Matter and Civil Rights Movements.
