血清素介紹：

  • 血清素(Serotonin)或稱5-HT (5-hydroxytryptamine)是色胺酸代謝的中間產物，在神經系統中扮演重要角色。

  • 血清素有超過 80%是存在於腸嗜鉻細胞(EC cell)，其次為血小板 (血液中的血清素主要存在於血小板)，而僅約2%存在於腦部與中樞神經系統。

    • 本項檢驗，主要是測血小板中的血清素

    • 抽血後讓試管靜置讓血塊形成，血塊形成過程中可將存在於血小板中的血清素擠出，因此檢測血清即可得知血小板中含有多少血清素。


  • 近年來，許多研究支持血液中血清素濃度與疾病間存在因果關係[1]。

  • 腦脊髓液與身心狀況一致性最高，但檢體取得最不容易

  • 血液(血清)中的血清素濃度與體內血清素儲備量有相關性，適合評估是否需要補充血清素

  • 如果使用血清素治療或大量攝食時，則可檢測血小板中的血清素，以避免前述的干擾
