Jez, "Feast," date unknown.
"Jez" (translated as "Hedgehog") was a popular, prominent, and influential satirical magazine. It was started in the postwar period in Yugoslavia (an independent Communist Slavic country in Southern Europe). In this picture, George Marshall is presented as an American cowboy, serving a drink in glasses (labelled with a skull and cross bones) to European officials. The whole message in the text: “Be brave! We give you Marshall Plan help in drops!”
