The City of Wooster evaluates turnover on an annual basis. The national turnover rate is an industry standard calculated by SHRM annually.
Employee turnover is one of the most commonly used HR metrics. Employee turnover can be viewed with a negative connotation. However, employee turnover is not always negative. Turnover is important to monitor to ensure it is not detrimental to the operations of the City; however, some turnover is healthy and natural in all organizations.
