  Swimming in the ocean you see a dark shadow. Confused you go to see what it was. It was a shark fierce, fast and sneaky. You want to learn more about them.

  Sharks communicate through body language. Sharks constantly swim to breathe. If they don’t, they won't be swimming for long! Sharks hunt with strategies like circling prey. If you are getting circled by a shark, try to find a way out.

  Others are plankton feeders like the Basking Shark and filter large volumes of water for sustenance. Some are solitary predators that hunt at night, such as the Tiger Shark. Some exhibit benthic (bottom-dwelling) behaviours.

  The Great Hammerhead Shark is the largest of all nine hammerhead species. The Megamouth Shark is a rare shark and a large species, reaching weights of 2700 pounds (1215 kg). Bull sharks are among the most dangerous sharks in the world, according to many experts.

Sharks are fascinating creatures. Now you know a lot more about them. They can be dangerous, but they are certainly unique!
