  Fish are animals that live in the ocean, lakes, rivers and ponds. Lots of people eat fish. You can eat fish at most restaurants and fish and chip shops. There are still fish that people haven't discovered yet. They are very cool creatures and super interesting to learn about. 

  What are fish? Fish are animals that live in water. Fish can have lots of different shapes. They are often shaped as a rectangle.They have long pointy  fins. There are over 35,500 species of fish. The smallest fish in the world is the Paedocypris fish, which grows to only 7.9 mm in length. The largest fish in the world is the whale shark, which can grow up to 12.5 meters long and weigh over 20 tons. Fish are awesome!

  How do fish live? They breathe using gills. Fish lay eggs called roe. They can be found in oceans, lakes, and rivers. They are cold blooded vertebrates that live entirely in water. They stay in groups to make it look like they are big fish. They also hide so they don't get eaten. Fish eat other fish and they use their sharp teeth to bite their prey. They swim fast to quickly bite their prey. 

  In conclusion, fish are amazing animals that live all over the world in water. They come in many shapes and sizes, from the smallest Paedocypris to the huge whale shark. Fish have special ways of living, like using gills to breathe and swimming in groups to stay safe. They are interesting to learn about and make our oceans, lakes, and rivers exciting places. Fish are truly wonderful creatures.
