On August 3, the Guest Administrator Team of Fo Guang Shan Vancouver held the 2025 Guest Administrator Workshop at the temple, with 31 members in uniform attending. The workshop continued the North American training program with a full day of shared practice and learning.
Abbess Venerable Chueh Chu guided the session, reminding members that Guest Administrator service is not just etiquette but also cultivation of the mind. She encouraged them to embody Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s Four Givings—confidence, joy, hope, and convenience.
The program included icebreakers and group drills based on training videos. Participants practiced posture, walking, receiving guests, and formation exercises, strengthening both skill and teamwork.
The workshop concluded smoothly, giving participants renewed energy and unity. It strengthened the Vancouver Guest Administrator team, preparing them to serve with compassion, professionalism, and the Fo Guang spirit.
