Timeline: SOE & SONHP Special Elections 2018-fall
Monday, September 17, 12:01am: E-mail nominations OPEN. Email nominations close on Thursday, September 20 at 1:00pm. Send nominations (or self-nominations) to elections@usffapt.org. Include the candidate’s name, email address, the two most recent years the candidate taught at USF,and the SOE or SONHP for which the candidate is being nominated. Candidates must have completed two semesters of teaching at USF. Representatives may serve from the USF main campus or branch campuses.
Thursday, September 20, 11:30 to 1:00pm, McLaren 252: In person nominations may be made from the floor at the membership meeting.
Thursday, September 20, 1pm: E-mail nominations close.
Friday, September 21, 5pm: Members nominated to run for office must email their acceptance to elections@usffapt.org. Nominees should state the two (2) most recent completed semesters they taught at USF. Failure to send an acceptance email by this time will be considered as declining the nomination. A verified notification of eligibility will be sent to all candidates who accept.
Friday, September 28, 5pm: Candidates wishing to submit campaign statement must be submitted by this time to elections@usffapt.org. A PDF file is required ("save as" reduced file size, please). Required PDF file name: LastName.FirstName.Position.School.Materials01 [example: Einstein.Albert.Representative.CAS.Materials01] Recommended content: one or two page statement, with bio and photo. Candidates' campaign materials will be distributed electronically within two days.
Monday, October 1: Voting lists are available to view. Schedule a time with the Election Committee: elections@usffapt.org.
Monday Oct 8, 12:01am to Thursday, Oct 11:59pm: Electronic voting occurs.
Friday,Oct. 12 Election Results are announced.
