Timeline: USFFA-PT Elections 2016

Friday, April 1, 12:01am: E-mail nominations open. Send nominations (or self-nominations) to Christy Newman at elections@usffapt.org Include the candidate’s name, email address, and the position for which the candidate is being nominated.

Tuesday, April 5, 11:30 to 1:00pm, Zief Law Library Terrace Room 201: In person nominations can also be made from the floor at the membership meeting.

Tuesday, April 5, 5pm: E-mail nominations close. Send nominations (or self-nominations) to Christy Newman at elections@usffapt.org Include the candidate’s name, email address, and the position for which the candidate is being nominated.

Wednesday, April 6, 5pm: Members nominated to run for office must email their acceptance to elections@usffapt.org. Nominees should state the two (2) most recent completed semesters they taught at USF. Failure to send an acceptance email by this time will be considered as declining the nomination. A verified notification of eligibility will be sent to all candidates who accept.

Wednesday, April 13, 5pm: Candidates wishing to submit campaign statement must be submitted by this time to elections@usffapt.org. PDF file ONLY required ("save as" reduced file). Required PDF file name: LastName.FirstName.Position.School.Materials01 [example: Einstein.Albert.Representative.AS.Materials01] Recommended content: one or two page statement, with bio and photo. Candidates' campaign materials will be distributed electronically within two days.

Wednesday, April 20, 5pm: Candidates wishing to submit campaign statement must be submitted by this time to elections@usffapt.org. PDF file ONLY required ("save as" reduced file). Required PDF file name: LastName.FirstName.Position.School.Materials02 [example: Einstein.Albert.Representative.AS.Materials02] Recommended content: one or two page statement, with bio and photo. Candidates' campaign materials will be distributed electronically within two days. Only those candidates who submit materials 02 PDF will be distributed, even if that is the same document submitted previously.

Candidates may also, at their own expense, distribute campaign material by U.S. Mail. This will be handled through a 3rd party voting administrator, VoteNet/eBallot. Costs and procedures will be provided upon request; contact elections@usffapt.org. Candidates must have contacted the elections committee by 5pm on Monday April 11.

Tuesday, April 26, 12:01am to Friday, April 29,11:59pm: Electronic voting occurs, managed by VoteNet/eBallot, a 3rd party electronic voting administrator.
