Get involved - August 2025

We first outlined ways to get involved in July 2025.  This is an update for August 2025.  This group was initially formed in response to the July 2025 consultation by Barnet Council on the proposed Underhill South Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ).  The Underhill Residents Group is a newly formed unconstituted grouping concerned with the interests of residents of the Underhill area of Barnet.  It is hoped that the informal nature of this group can help us to organise and respond effectively.  We are working closely with the Quinta Village Green Residents Association.

Here are some suggested ways to get involved:

1) Consider sharing with us your correspondence with Barnet Council about the CPZ and whether or not they have replied to any of your questions

2) Check out our latest findings from the survey data so far

3) Have a look at the links we have pulled together

4) Consider contacting your local councillors or MP - ask them to ensure the Council and hospital meet urgently to agree real, fair solutions for hospital-related parking pressures; insist on a clear timeline for resolving the issue; and reject CPZs as a substitute for proper hospital planning and investment; also ask them to address the consultation anomalies
