These include the five normal spawning fungal rakghouls five times, and the incredibly rare Catalyst rakghoul once. The Catalyst can replace any of the fungal rakghouls. These achievements are unlocked for infecting 5, 25, 100, and 1,000 player characters with Mutated Rakghoul Plague explosion that you get from being infected by rakghouls or infected creatures in the Rakghoul Tunnels during the Rakghoul Resurgence event. The Mutated Rakghoul Plague is a multi-stage debuff, with the first stage Lightheaded debuff lasting 10 minutes, and the second stage Feverish debuff lasting another 10 minutes. The third stage debuff is a brief 7 second window where your character will be stunned and then explode, infecting up to 10 unvaccinated and uninfected players within ~6 meters. To unlock these achievements you should position yourself near the end of the second phase to infect the maximum number of players. Alternatively, you can farm the achievement by using fall damage to trigger a character in the Feverish second stage to explode on impact. If you can position a character in a high point and jump either outside of the event on unsuspecting players, or on willing participants you can progress the achievement. At a minimum using the farming method it will take at least 17 hours, and if letting the plague progress naturally it will take at least 35 hours to complete these.
