The ttm014 is a digital synthesizer equipped with a proprietary waveform synthesis engine and modulation system. While the waveform generation engine is the same as that of the ttm002, it offers greater freedom in sound design by allowing users to combine up to four waveforms. It excels at producing orchestral sounds.
You can easily generate the main oscillator waveform by selecting any of the five waveform generation patterns and adjusting up to eight parameters. Additionally, since you can freely generate waveforms for modulation, you can create more complex sounds.
It features a high-pass filter, low-pass filter, chorus, and echo for final tone adjustment.

1) Official Release
Generation of fundamental and modulation waveforms using a proprietary algorithm.
Tone variations achieved through a proprietary modulation mechanism.
Ability to combine four waveform data sets.
Analog-like sound created by the attack pitch randomization feature.
Low memory usage and minimal system load.
The timbre is generated by combining two types of waves: Wave-A and Wave-B.
The waveforms consist of the following four elements:
Wave-A Attack:The waveform immediately following the onset of Wave-A. After sounding for the duration set in “Attack,” it transitions to the Wave-A Sustain waveform over the duration set in “Decay.”
Wave-A Sustin:Begins playing after the time specified in “Attack” has elapsed since the start of sound, and transitions completely after the time set in “Decay” has elapsed.
Wave-B Attack:The waveform immediately following the onset of Wave-B. After sounding for the duration set in “Attack,” it transitions to the Wave-B Sustain waveform over the duration set in “Decay.”
Wave-B Sustin:Begins playing after the time specified in “Attack” has elapsed since the start of sound, and transitions completely after the time set in “Decay” has elapsed.
You can adjust the volume, pitch, and modulation envelopes independently for Wave-A and Wave-B.
By clicking the button, you can select the waveform type from Sin/Rect/Rect2/Sin-N/Sin-X. The effect of Param.1 to Param.7 differs depending on the waveform type. Unused Param. will be grayed out.
Sin: Sine waveform can be deformed using Param.1 and Param.2 as the basic waveform.
Rect: Rectangular waveforms can be deformed using Param.1 to Param.7 as the basic waveform.
Rect2: Rect waveform can be deformed using Param.1 to Param.7 as the basic waveform.
Sin-N: Using the sine wave as the basic waveform, Param.1 to Param.3 can be used to deform the waveform. Noise waveforms can be generated by superimposing sine waves multiple times.
Sin-X: Using the sine wave as the basic waveform, Param.1 and Param.2 can be used to deform the waveform. A metallic tone can be obtained by increasing the sampling frequency.
Adjusts the range over which the ends of the main oscillator waveform are rounded. The larger the number, the softer the tone tends to be. The image below shows the upper waveform at 0% and the lower waveform at 100%.
Select the waveform you want to edit. You can then edit the waveform for the selected waveform.
You can also edit the envelope for Wave-A, Wave-B, or Modulation.
Adjusts the volume balance between Wave-A and Wave-B. The center position is A:50%/B:50%; turning the knob to the left increases the volume of Wave-A, and turning it to the right increases the volume of Wave-B.
Adjusts the temporal characteristics of the Wave-A sound.
Attack: Adjusts the duration during which only the Attack waveform of Wave-x is heard.
Decay: Adjusts the time it takes for the Attack waveform of Wave-x to transition to the Sustain waveform.
Mod.: Adjusts the intensity of the modulation.
LFO1 modulates both the modulation and the pitch.
Freq.: Adjusts the frequency of LFO1.
Mod.: Adjusts the modulation intensity.
Pitch: Adjusts the range of pitch variation.
LFO2 affects the volume.
Freq.: Adjusts the frequency of LFO2.
Amp.: Adjusts the amplitude of the volume changes.
By randomly varying the pitch immediately after a note is played, this adds nuances similar to those of a real instrument.
Time; Adjusts the duration of the pitch variation.
Pitch: Adjusts the maximum range of the pitch variation.
You can adjust the envelope separately for Wave-A, Wave-B, and Modulation. Select the waveform data you want to adjust, and then adjust the envelope.
Select the envelope you want to adjust. Click the envelope you want to adjust to select it. The types of envelopes available for selection vary depending on the selected waveform.
[Wave-A/Wave-B]
Amp.: Adjusts the volume envelope.
Pitch: Adjusts the pitch envelope.
Mod.: Adjusts the modulation envelope.
[Modulation]
Amp.: Adjusts the volume envelope for LFO2.
Pitch: Adjusts the pitch envelope for LFO1.
Filter: Adjusts the low-pass filter envelope.
Envelope adjustment by pitch
Adjusts the degree to which the envelope speed changes based on pitch (key number). A positive value makes the envelope speed faster as the pitch rises, while a negative value makes it slower.
Envelope adjustment by velocity
Adjusts the degree to which velocity changes the envelope velocity. The higher the velocity with a positive value, the lower the envelope speed becomes, and the faster the velocity with a negative value.
Envelope level
Adjusts the envelope level. Adjust the volume and filter in the range of 0 to 100, and the pitch in the range of -100 to +100. The envelope level value being adjusted is indicated on the label at the bottom.
A: Adjusts the level immediately after the sound is pronounced.
H: Adjusts the level after the attack time has elapsed.
D: Adjusts the level after the decay time.
S: Adjusts the level after the sustain time.
E: Adjusts the level after the release time.
Envelope time
Adjusts the envelope time. The envelope level value [ms] being adjusted is displayed on the label at the bottom.
A: Adjusts the time to reach level H.
H: Adjusts the time to maintain level H.
D: Adjusts the time to reach level D.
S: Adjusts the time to reach level S.
E: Adjusts the time until level E is reached.
Adjust the chorus.
Freq.:Adjusts the frequency of the chorus.
Depth:Adjusts the amplitude of the chorus (the amount of shaking).
Adjust the echo.
Level: Adjusts the volume of the echo.
Time: Adjusts the echo duration.
Filter
Adjust the filter.
HPF: Adjusts the cutoff frequency of the high-pass filter.
LPF: Adjusts the cutoff frequency of the low pass filter.
Displays the currently selected waveform.
Patch name
Change the patch name. Click on the text box to switch to input mode.
Adjusts the volume. The higher the value, the louder the volume.
Save/Load Patches
Saves/loads/temporary saves patch data.
Save: Saves the patch data.
Load: Loads the patch data.
Keep: Temporarily saves the currently selected patch data to preset No. 0.
Fine-tune the settings.
If you operate the GUI while holding down the Shift key, the amount of change in value is reduced to 1/5 of the normal value, making fine adjustments easier.
