CAMP LIST
Food
I will bring hot dogs and muffins for dinner and breakfast. I will also have hot chocolate.
You bring:
A can of chili
We will have hot water. Bring instant oatmeal if you want that, or bring something else you like.
Lunch - Something you don't have to cook. Sandwiches, tortilla wraps, or just snacks. I like tortillas and bagel sandwiches because they are tough, and don't smash.
See pack lists for winter camping lists
This should be a much warmer ice-fishing trip than we have had in the last few years. However, if you have any concerns about getting cold bring two sleeping bags!
A good insulated pad or pads.
Fishing pole if you have
Rob recommended chartreuse green Paddle Bug or white Tube Jig lures.
Rag to wipe hands when you catch a fish
A camp chair.
Sunscreen and Sunglasses
Winter Boots, Gaiters, Snow Pants, Thermals
Toe warmers, keeping feet warm is a priority.
Gloves often get wet. Bring a second pair.
License if >= 16
We will be using a youth organization exemption for licenses. However, this only covers youth to age 15. If you are >=16 you need to get a license.
Tents - Bring your own or if you are joining someone, make sure you have planned it together.
