Schofield Reservoir Ice Fishing 2021
This camp was a super fun one for everyone and I don't think anyone would disagree with me. When we arrived, we all unloaded, set everything up and got straight to fishing! Some started to have bites but not many. Finally when it got dark, we all set up the chairs, fire, food etc. and had a wonderful meal. Once we went to bed it was cold until our body heat finally heated the bags up. We then woke up to a very cold morning and went to find a good fishing hole/place. But us being Boy Scouts after not catching fish for a while, we needed some adventure. So a few of us set out to find something exciting. After a little bit of searching, we found a man made ice rink. We started having sliding competitions, army crawl competitions, and human bowling. Do you remember that saying one man's trash (plastic water bottles) is another man's treasure? Well we all took that water bottle and started playing ice soccer and after a while we found large sticks and played hockey. Once it was time to go home, almost everyone had caught at least one fish. Some were even lucky and caught 2-3. I bet we will be doing it again next year! Can't wait! Thanks to our leaders and fellow Boy Scouts for such a fun trip!

CAMP LIST
Medical Forms Part A and B minimum (Remember to copy front and back of insurance card.)
Food RSVP - With what you will bring
Look for ALL assignments (Chilli, breakfast, lunch)
Breakfast - either bring instant oatmeal in a freezer bag, that we can just add hot water, and eat directly from the bag. Or if you want a freezer bag omelet you can do that. Your choice.
Lunch - Something you don't have to cook. Sandwiches, tortilla wraps, or just snacks. I like tortillas and bagel sandwiches because they are tough, and don't smash.
See below in "resources" for winter camping lists
