During check-in at your airport of departure in the United States you will be required to provide the following documents before boarding:
Valid passport
IMPORTANT: please contact your specific airline to confirm all requirements for travel to Italy.
IMPORTANT: these arrival instructions are valid for students arriving on the designated arrival day of August 28 at the Fiumicino Airport. If you are arriving in Rome earlier or by a different hub and would like assistance getting from the airport to the city center or campus, please write the Rome Campus staff to let them know: flavia.alfano@trincoll.edu
For all students arriving on August 28, once you have landed at the Rome Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino (FCO), you will go through passport control if coming directly from the United States. Students who arrive via other European Union airports will go through immigration at their first stop before taking the connection to Rome.
After landing at Fiumicino airport in Rome, be aware that two representatives of Trinity College Rome Campus holding TCRC signs can be found inside the arrivals sector of Terminal 3, T3. If you land in Terminal 3, you will easily spot them as you leave baggage claim. If you are landing in a different Terminal, please walk to T3, this is easy to reach by foot from T2 and T1. Once you have met them they will accompany you to the bus or car that will take you to school.

You have the day free to settle in but will be expected to be present at a mandatory orientation meeting in the evening, which will be followed by a group dinner.
During the first week of the program, the program director and other program staff will provide you with a comprehensive on-site orientation that will give you information on your program location, culture, academics, internships and health and safety. Through group outings and discussions, students are introduced to the host country and provided with tools for a safe and successful semester. Orientation is also a time to review program objectives and develop relationships within the student group. Please note: all orientation activities are mandatory for all students.
